The front nine is very nice with plenty of water, sand and trees to justify its 121 white tee course rating. The monster hole is the par 4 sharp-left dogleg with very deep sand traps in front of the elevated green and a large pond for the slice challenged on the right of the fairway. The distance is only 254 yards, but unless you are a big hitter, you will have little chance of hitting the green by clearing the trees directly in front of the green. For those who love risk, it is very tempting. The back nine is not as scenic, but the dogleg par four finishing hole is a very pretty 403 yard hole with a large pond coming into play. Overall a good play.
I played it earlier in the year, and did not enjoy the course at all. The owner there seemed quite rude, the play was really slow, and the course itself did not appeal to me. There was not one hole that really impressed me. Not playing there again.

Played Brockport twice this year, once in a tourney and once this past weekend. Both times were enjoyable and the staff was quite friendly. The course was in pretty good shape, but had suffered some water damage earlier in the year and there were some ruts exiting the cart paths to the fairways...nothing that can't be fixed. Play can be somewhat slow, but tell me the course that isn't on a nice weekend day.

Notice that the Dave left his message in January? Brockport is known to make up great reports about their course. Its too bad because for the most part this is a nice course. I played here a few days ago and enjoyed myself but try to figure out the price you should pay. I saw it anywhere from $1 to $35 on LMTT . I would be pissed if I was a member here.

Dave must not know what private country clubs look like. Brockport has gotten better, but conditions are rough, especially when they let carts out on the first week in april tearing the grounds up.

Just wanted to say that this was the best Public course I have played in NY. I play mostly the private courses in Rochester but your course is ample or better than most of the Private course. Keep up the good work, I will be back monthly.
