Well maintained and interesting course. The back nine has more hole variation than the front nine, and provides a great view of the course at times. In order to see the group ahead, periscopes are installed on a few of the holes. If you don't mind the tightness of the course, it offers some very beautiful holes in a natural setting. Large banquet facilities.
Chestnut Hills is a very friendly course. Not the easiest, however. Well kept, clean. Fairways in very good conditon and greens that are well manicured. Don't let that friendly look fool you, there are plenty of places to get into trouble. Ponds that seem to crop out of nowhere and a couple of new fairway bunkers to find. The staff at Chestnut Hills is very friendly. Prices fair and reflect the condition of their facility. I will be considering membership next year. I really enjoy playing there.
