Beautiful course with water, trees and sand on every hole. Course is relatively flat which makes it easier for walkers. There are 27 holes here, and the Emerald/Wizard is the typical 18 holes to play. The Witch nine holes are more open. The three ""nines"" are playable in four eighteen-hole combinations. The Emerald / Wizard Course is difficult and features fairways that vary in width. The greens are exceptionally large and extremely fast, so three putting is a common occurrence.
I played Deerfield last week and the greens were in excellent condition, and the fairways were decent. All in all a nice play. Rates are only $25 weekends in the afternoon. A good bargain.

Challenging and enjoyable, Deerfield is a much better choice then Brockport. Only problem I found is there is usually slowplay and some backup.
