Course Description
LeRoy Country Club is a par 71, 6105-yard (white tees) golf course located on Route 5 just East of downtown LeRoy. There is a small pro shop, a limited driving range (max 180 yards), and a bar/banquet facility located off the 18th hole green.The course is asymmetric with 8 par 4’s and 1 par 3 on the front nine, and three par 5's and three par 3's on the back nine. Holes 17 and 18 are par 3’s. This is at times a tight course with many of the holes close to each other. The course was longer than average, and there were many hills that made for a more difficult than average walk. The course meandered from idyllic ponds with resting ducks to running along Route 5 with a huge billboard overlooking the green.
The fairways are somewhat open, and the fast greens are medium-sized. Water hazards only come into play on a couple of holes, but numerous sand bunkers have been positioned throughout the course's design.

Leroy CC is getting better with age, the addition of hundreds of trees,ponds,and T-boxes.Mosst of the trees are very large now and make it more difficult to play. For the ponds, you now have to think about your shots. T-boxes are narrow which adds to the difficulty of the course. The greens at Leroy are on the small size which means you have to be accurate,the condition of the greens have good and bad trates. True and smooth with alot of breaking, but if you don't hit a high shot you will bounce off. Fully watered fairways are nice but I think they need alittle more water, you can roll forever rite now which is not bad. The resturant has excellent food and cold drinks.Overall I give it arating of 4 out of 5 wich is worth the money.
