Located in the Naples valley, Reservoir Creek is a beautiful course in a natural setting with breathtaking views of the Naples countryside. A challenging 18-hole course with rolling fairways and medium-sized greens - averaging 4,000 square feet each. The greens are nicely undulated and fast. Water comes into play on at least five holes. At 117 slope, it is not the most difficult nor the longest course, but every hole has a great view. There are few traps and few water hazards. Most of the difficulty is in the elevation changes and tree lined woods. Often you are hitting downhill. This target-style course is a mix of links and mountain-style holes. The signature hole, #4 is a 288-yrd par 4 dogleg left. The tee shot is 170-yards over water to a landing area 16-yards wide. If you make the landing area, the next shot is a 118-yards approach shot uphill to a two-tiered green that falls left.
The course has great views of the Naples countryside, and is worth a special trip. Most of the par 4's are about 350 yards. The course is hilly and some of the holes are far apart, so walking is usually not allowed. Most of the time you will be hitting shots above or below your feet, as the course is very hilly. The middle of the course has four holes that are narrow and without much to buffer between holes. It is common to find yourself hitting from an adjacent fairway from these holes. In 2007, the weekend rates are $47 a round with cart, and the twilight rates don't apply until 4pm which is way past the typical 12-2pm rate change for most of the Rochester courses. At $47, it is close to being the most expensive course after 12 noon on the weekends, with Ravenwood at $49 after 12 noon. Give yourself about 90 minutes to get there from Rochester.

Great course. Wonderful views! Kept in great shape. If you are an old man like me, or not in great shape, you'll be thankful for electric carts. Some long drives through the woods to get to each hole, with many hills. Holes are challenging, but not so hard it's not fun. I'll definitely play there this fall. When the leaves turn, it'll be even more enjoyable to play. Only drawback - staff not the friendliest. This course and Bristol are THE two courses to play in the area.
This golf course offers the most spectacular, breath-taking views I have seen. Fast greens, nice fairways provide for a good golf experience. For some reason they have areas on the hole maps as well as carved out on the course for bunkers, which are not filled with sand????? The person behind the counter was clueless and could not tell me why they were not filled. Besides the missing bunkers, Reservoir Creek is a very enjoyable golf experience. Dont try walking it though, unless you're a hiker.
