Sweetland Pines is a well-manicured par 27 nine-hole course. The par 3 holes vary from 80-160 yards with some challenging greens. There are lots of large mature pines on the edges of the fairways with no sand and no water hazards. The fairways are level and straight. There is very little risk of getting hit by an errant shot here since the holes are short and spaced apart. There is no rough as all the grass off the greens is cut to fairway height. It is very well maintained with each hole well marked, and benches and garbage cans on most every hole.
I have played at this course many times, and enjoy it very much. As is said on this site, it's a very well kept course. It's kept very clean, the people who own it take a lot of pride in all phases of it's up-keep.
The people that own it are very friendly, and make you feel as though you are playing golf in or own back yard, it is a great place to take the whole family for day of affordable, good clean fun.
The course is very player freindly, but at the same time challenges your short game. The greens are of all types, and the ninth is a nice challange.
I LOVE THE PLACE !!!
