One of the nicer Rochester area courses with 27 holes. Each of the three 9 holes are roughly equal so that you can shoot 18 with three different 9 combinations without compromising your experience. This course has some of the deepest sand traps in the area that will give you that "all hope is lost" feeling. Very well maintained with very little rough since ALL the grass is cut low even under the high pruned trees. This gives the course a well-manicured look and feel unlike the natural look of a Wildwood GC. Very generous practice green and driving range with good sized banquet facility.
Not too long, not too short as well as not to tough but not to easy. The perfect course for anyone of any level of play. Fairways are well kept and the greens are in great condition. Nice location as well but there is one downfall. If you are ever so lucky to be on the tee at #4 (A long par 5 where the drive is crucial) pray you don't have to wait for a freight train to roll by on the tracks right next to the course!
Played here yesterday, and the course was in great shape. They even blow off all of the fall stuff from the greens. NICE. The traps were like cement, but that's normal. Shot an 80, so not a bad day!
News Flash- The Banquet facility has been torn down in order to build a bigger and better one. Also, there is no driving range, and one of the practice grees is gone to make room for the new facility. But it's still OK!
