Make a date, pack your clubs, and take the time to get to Wayne Hills CC. This must play course in Western NY is worth the trip. Wayne Hills will challenge your putting skills and short game with some of the fastest greens available for public play. The key to the greens is to keep it below the hole. This challenging course has the length to woo the big hitters as well as two reachable par fives to test the gambler in you. The short, severely downhill, seventh hole is the signature par 3 and it will make you shudder because the view is distracting, leaving it short is embarrassing, and going left of the tee makes a five a real possibility. Wayne Hills provides a driving range and a fabulous practice green to warm you up. No slow play here and four hours rounds are rare. The course is always in great condition. You won't be sorry you took the time to play Wayne Hills. - by Dan Crosby

I played Wayne Hills twice so far this year in 2007. It is a long way down 31 to get there, so give yourself at least an hour to drive from Rochester. I played it late Saturday afternoon both times, and it was very quiet. Unlike some other courses, Wayne Hills it not up against a subdivision. We had a fox walk in the middle of the fairway carrying a rabbit! It is very quiet and in a natural setting. All of the trees are trimmed six feet up from the ground, so it is usually easy to recover from a poor shot. Although water is everywhere on the course, it doesn't seem to come into play as much as you would expect. Plenty of sand traps here. The course is well cared for and watered. This is a nice play, but not easily driven to.

AMAZING! I have played almost all public courses around the Rochester area and this course was incredible. Not the longest from the white tees, but the greens and fairways were beautiful. This is a MUST play for all people in the Rochester area regardless of the drive.
Wayne Hills is quite simply the best course you can play around here that isn't private.

One of the most attractive and pleasurable courses in the area. The beauty of the course is enough to make an enjoyable round, but the course layout and condition are also remakable. Wayne Hills has always given me a pleasurable round.
